What is Sprint task?
Sprint task is a task manager for development teams built around an infinite board. Tasks, notes, meeting notes and folders live side by side, and everyone on the board sees changes the moment they happen.
How is it different from lists and kanban boards?
Lists and columns force work into one dimension. On a canvas you can group work by feature, draw dependencies and keep context next to the task, while every card still has a status, priority, assignees, labels and a due date.
Can several people edit the same card at once?
Yes. Text merges character by character, so nobody overwrites anybody. You see who is writing, moving or timing each card.
What happens when my connection drops?
Keep working. Changes are kept on your device and sync as soon as you are back online.
How does time tracking work?
Start a timer on any task card or from the side panel. Pause it, run several at once and see totals on the card and in project insights.
Can I use it from the terminal or my own scripts?
Yes. Create an API key in settings and use the REST API or the Sprint task command line to list, create and update tasks. Changes show up live on the board.
I use Sprint today. What happens to my data?
Sprint task is the successor to Sprint. Your tasks, spaces and team will move over, and Sprint keeps running until the migration is done.
